Real Time IRC Chat

Gatewaygamer.net hosts two Internet Relay Chat (IRC) channels on the irc.blitzed.org network. They are #gatewaygamer and #gatewaygamer-help. These are for general member discussions and for help with technical or other problems on the forums and web site, respectively. We some times have people run games on IRC using our own homegrown dice roller for IRC chat rooms called dicebot. More about dicebot later.

You can connect to us on IRC using any IRC client, such as mIRC, BitchX, IIRC et. al. by connecting to the irc.blitzed.org port 6667 and one of the above two channels, #gatewaygamer for general discussion and just hanging out, or #gatewaygamer-help to talk with a forum moderator or admin about a problem or concern.

You can also connect via our own web based IRC client by clicking on IRC Chat in the navigation bar menu. This will automatically open up our browser based IRC client with all the appropriate connection information including your forum username filled in. Just click "Connect" and chat away.
