I bought some stuff from a company called SR Systems, and they're a real pain to deal with. Details are below, but the bottom line is this: Avoid dealing with them. - - - -

08:41:15 [shasticon] Well, the company I bought the ram and one of the motherboards from sent me one stick of ram instead of the three I ordered.
08:41:59 [shasticon] So I called them and said, hey buddy, where's my damn ram? The salesguy assured me it was their mistake and that the other two stick would be sent immediately and they'd pay the shipping.
08:42:15 [shasticon] A week later, I sent an email saying HEY! Where's my damn ram?
08:42:51 [shasticon] They say, What ram? So I have to go through the story again, and they get all apologetic and Yes Sir! We'll send that right away and we're Oh So Sorry.

08:43:35 [shasticon] So yesterday I get the ram. It's just what I ordered, only they charged me $11 shipping. For each stick.
08:43:59 [legomancer] it's always the same old thing. My next computer will be a frickin Dell or Gateway, because at least someone there answers the phone when you call.

08:44:24 [shasticon] So in case you were wondering, it costs $22 to ship ram at the slowest UPS ground rate.

08:45:33 [shasticon] In case you haven't handled RAM in a while, it's no longer seventy pounds and made of rock. They're pretty small these days.
08:45:52 [shasticon] I sent them a nasty email demanding that they explain themselves.
08:46:44 [shasticon] Oh, did I mention that they didn't have the RAM they advertised? I wanted Micron, specifically, but they told me after I'd ordered that they didn't have any more and would Nanya at+$3 be okay instead?
