By and large, it is done. Anna, Sophia and Kurt have made a successful move to St. Louis, Missouri from Jackson, Mississippi. This past weekend, it took the movers 12 hours to unload the truck that brought 99% of everything we own. - - - -
After a month of being seperated, we are all together again. The house is in a serious state of disarray. We have boxes to unpack. Our queen sized bed wouldn't go up the century old (ok ok, 96 year old, but who's counting) staircase that we have. Our fridge is mostly bare. It took us hours to find some towels so we could shower. But, it's all worth it being together and being in St. Louis. We love our house. We love our city (technically Webster Groves). My sister Kelly came down to visit and we all had a good time.
We are getting DSL service this week and at some unkown point in the future we'll be relocating the SlithyToves server to our new house (it is currently being graciously hosted by Shasticon in Jackson.
