Long time SlithyToves readers will have heard me rave about ShasRadio. Well, if you never bothered to check it out before now, you missed your chance. ShasRadio is gone. - - - -
It is our fervent hope that it is not gone forever, and really, if something is going to go, what better way to do so than as the victim of your own success? That's right, ShasRadio's ISP pulled the plug on them for using too much bandwidth. If anyone has free, cheap colo to offer ShasRadio email Shasticon. Be aware before making offers that ShasRadio was pretty consistently using about a T1's worth of bandwidth and that there's no money in it. It's a labor of love. Goodbye ShasRadio! You'll always have a special place in my heart.
P.S. You can still pretend you were running with the cool crowd, if you like, by buying ShasRadio gear and faking it.
