Yesterday at 4:00 P.M. Chaosopher and I signed away the deed to our old house. Yes, it has finally been sold. We now have the appropriate number of houses (one). This is a great relief to us, on all sorts of levels. Paying for one mortgage instead of two, keeping track of one house instead of two, the end to being harassed by realtors, having all our things together in one place. All kinds of joys are ahead of us as a one house family. I'd like to say we went out on the town and ate a huge dinner and partied with glee, but after all the tension of dealing with everything at the last minute left our bodies we found we were basically spineless lumps and just sat at home vegetating. So the celebratory dinner will have to wait until we have recovered.
