You are reading this on the NEW SlithyToves.ORG server. If you didn't notice that there was a change, the credit goes to Kurt Schwind, who worked extra hard to make the changeover as painless and unnoticeable as possible for all involved. - - - -
Our old server, trinity, was a Pentium I running at 200 Mhz with 64 MB of RAM and a 60 GB hard drive. It served us long and faithfully, as well as hosting sites for various organizations and individuals in the (roughly) three years that we used it to run Slithytoves.ORG.
Now, behold 2.trinity : a lightning fast P2-450Mhz with 384 MB of RAM and an 80 GB hard drive. Hopefully this will mean improved service for the entire SlithyToves community and all our hosted sites.
We expect a few little things to have been broken in the transition. If something on your webpages is not working, please drop Kurt a line (kurt@slithytoves.org) with as much specific information about the malfunction as possible. I'm sure I don't have to tell you to be patient with us during this transition.
